Big Brother Naija ‘Level Up’ housemate, Bella Okagbue has come to the defense of her co-star and friend, Phyna over claims of her rejecting an N5million offer for s3x.
The reality star in the latest episode of her podcast, Spill with Phyna, recalled how a male fan offered her N5 million for sex at a nightclub, which she declined and ordered the man to leave her presence.
She further said she had asked the man for his account number so she could gift him the money.
Many didn’t believe her story, especially the point where she asked to transfer the said amount to him. Coming to her BFF’s defense, Bella via her Twitter account, noted how poverty always makes people think it’s a lie. According to her, when people can’t afford things, they assume others are lying.
Bella stated that N5 million is just a flight ticket for many.
“When they think it’s a lie cause they can’t afford it. 5m is literally just a flight ticket”.
One of the many who didn’t believe her was comedian Dee One, who challenged her over her statement. He queried her statement, asking her to share proof, as he expressed his doubts and skepticism.
Hitting back, Phyna labeled him a gay and Dee One confirmed it as he recounted how he slept with Phyna’s father, which Phyna was aware of, and how he paid her N500,000 to hype him up during the affair.
Some weeks back, Phyna had recounted how her controversies and scandals had made her lose 17 brand deals.
She revealed how a brand rejected working with her because they felt she was an abuser after a blog made a false accusation about her and Groovy.
The reality star stated that the trolling on social media negatively affected her as she lost 17 brand deals in total between 2022 and 2023.
Last year, the reality star was involved in several scandals with her family, Davido, a wig vendor, co-reality stars, and more.
Her father granted an interview where he narrated his ordeal with her and how she abandoned him after winning the show. Slamming him, Phyna shared her ordeal with her family as she broke down over her family’s sense of entitlement. The Edo-born star who was broken by the interview, told the public to give her family her body when she dies for them to eat.
Recently, a wig vendor accused Phyna of failure to return a rented wig, and Phyna addressed the scandal, expressing weariness at being constantly criticized online, and blamed it on her team.
Taking things to the extreme, the woman had filed a complaint to the police against her, and Phyna was invited to the station for questioning.
