Former Big Brother Naija Housemate Uriel has reacted after Ghanaian actress Yvonne Nelson rubbished slimming tea and waist trainers, stating influencers and companies of the products are only deceiving people.
This sparked outrage on social media, also reacting reality TV star Uriel, who is known for always flaunting her snatched body and influencing such products, took to her Instagram page to clarify some misconceptions.
According to Uriel, credibility worth more than money to her, and she influences such products with all honesty, adding that waist training has been in existence since 1800.
Uriel said the waist trainer used in recent times is a typical example of what an African woman does after childbirth, and waist trainer alongside a controlled diet works.
She wrote: Stop Tagging me on the recent blog post. I’m Drama free so this is coming from a place of Honesty. If you have worked with me you know I wouldn’t touch your product unless I’ve used it!!! Credibility is worth more than money to me!!! WAIST training doesn’t work? Why has waist training been around since the 1800,s. Why is there still a huge market for it??? Yes I influence but I influence with honesty
