Reality TV star Tega Dominic has condemned celebrities who manipulate politics for personal gain at the expense of people’s future.
The social media influencer expressed frustration with the idea that politics is driven solely by personal interest.
The mother of one took to her Instagram story to air her opinion and lambast celebrities who share this school of thought.
Tega suggested that this mentality is harming the future and progress of society. Furthermore, she criticised celebrities who promoted this idea and wished them ill, implying that they will face negative consequences for their actions.
She wrote: Politics is a game of interest yen yen yen, soo una dey carry my future play, Until we kill that game of interest mentality, we will never go anywhere, all these celebrities forming game of interest, I see una, God bless you all in a different way, I sha know say e no go better for una. Period!

Kemi Filani recalls that Tega Dominic joined her colleagues in the entertainment industry to admonish Nigerians to do the right thing during the 2023 election.
At the time of writing, the 2023 general election was thirty-seven days away, and celebrities in their numbers campaigned for their preferred candidates. Taking to her Instagram page, the mother of one revealed a while back that she will be voting for the Labour Party Presidential candidate Peter Gregory Obi while noting that a new Nigeria is possible.
Tega however warned Nigerians not to wait for any celebrity to tell them who to vote for before they do the needful. Maintaining her stand, she urged everyone to think of the future generations and how the choice of a bad leader will affect them.
