BBNaija BamBam speaks on reasons celebrity marriages crash

A former Big Brother Naija contestant and actress, Bamike Adenibuyan, aka BamBam, has said her marriage to another former contestant in BBN, Teddy A, was ordained by God and she can’t relate on reasons her colleagues marriages are packing up.

BamBam also noted that her marriage must work because it’s mandatory for her to live exemplary life for her two daughters

She said, “I cannot relate. I don’t know what happens in another person’s yard but in my yard, it is mandatory (for my marriage to work). I have two daughters, and I cannot afford to fail them, except God says otherwise. It is God’s will for me to be in this marriage, and He is enabling us work it out, no matter what.”

Asked if she enjoyed the support of her parents when she started acting, she said, “No, I did not (enjoy their support). They felt what I was doing was stupid; they said, ‘let life teach me a lesson’. But, when I participated in BBN and came out, I think the fact that I succeeded and I’m still succeeding is what got me some form of parental support.”

The actress expressed her gratitude for the Big Brother platform, noting that it was an opportunity she did not take for granted. She said, “It was a great opportunity for me and I don’t take it for granted.”

Big Brother Naija 2018 star, had earlier taken to Twitter to stress the need for parents to ‘invest’ in their children.

According to the reality show star, it is unfair for parents to bring in ‘badly behaved children/humans causing pain and havoc in the society.’

Her tweet read; Parents, it is absolutely unfair to give this world badly behaved children/humans causing pain and havoc in the society, if you will not invest in them, please don’t birth them.”

The reason for the mother of two’s outburst is not clear yet, but it would be recalled that Bam Bam while celebrating her husband’s birthday on Monday June 6, appreciated him for making them have beautiful kids.

According to Bam Bam, Teddy A and herself are making beautiful kids, and he is also her gentle giant.

Teddy A and Bam Bam met as housemates on season 3 of the popular reality TV show Big Brother Naija.

Taking their relationship from the screens into real life, the duo announced their engagement on August 4, 2019, and had their white wedding on November 16, 2019, in Dubai
