Nigerian music superstar, Divine Ikubor, known professionally as Rema, performed at this year’s Ballon d’Or award.

The ceremony took place in Paris, France.

Rema was invited to sing ‘Calm Down’ after Manchester City won the prize for Club of the Season.

Kemi Filani reported recently that Rema spoke out on being a member of Illuminati.

Illuminati is one of the world’s most powerful secret societies, that specially houses artistes across the globe.

Taking to his Instagram story to address the allegations which stemmed from his signature bat emojis, he denied being a member of any secret cult.

The singer urged his oldest fans, popularly known as Ravers to educate the new ones about his background and heritage.

He stated that as he evolves, his execution will evolve unapologetically while adding that this is the main reason he does interviews so his fans can really know him.

The Mavins singer added that he works too hard to create art for people to give the glory to diabolical shit. Rema surprised many as he declared love for God, crowning him the King.

He said: “Day 1 Ravers, help me educate the new Ravers that I have been on this bat shit for a long time. You all would have so much clarity if you easily Google where I’m from, what the key colors of my heritage are, what flies in the skies of Benin every evening, etc.

“As I evolve, my execution will evolve unapologetically. Please know your artist. It is why I do interviews. And that Illuminati talk is trash. I work too hard to create art for you guys to give the glory to some diabolical shit. Read it now. Jesus is King.”
