Award-winning comedian, Ayo Makun popularly known as AY has finally responded to colleague, Julius Agwu’s accusation that he hunged the phone on him.
Kemi Filani reported days back that while weighing into AY and Basketmouth’s beef, Julius claimed that AY hunged up on him when he tried complaining to him about their crash event.
Every year Julius Agwu always holds a concert on Easter Sunday which clashes with AY Makun’s Sunday Easter concert in Lagos.
When he allegedly called him to vent out, he claimed that AY hung up on him.
“I called AY that Easter Sunday is my day and he cut the call on me”.
Reacting to it in a lengthy post on his Instagram page, Ayo Makun brought out proof to prove that he didn’t take over his Easter Sunday concert.
He noted how the truth remains the only ultimate power to downplay all the lies in a place where the internet never forgets.
He added that his stance on projecting peace across boards makes him a weakling neither is he seeking any form of unnecessary friendship that is laced with negativity.
“The truth remains the only ultimate power to downplay all the lies in a place where the INTERNET NEVER FORGETS.
Dear senior colleague, Julius Agwu, my question is how is it even possible to lay claims to the fact that I took over your Easter Sunday date with the following verifiable facts……”.

Comedian MC Morris slams Bovi for taking a swipe at his helper, Ayo Makun over his beef with Basketmouth
Recall that comedian, MC Morris had slammed his colleague, Bovi over his involvement in Basketmouth and Ayo Makun’s beef.
It is not news that Basketmouth and Bovi are friends, hence why many weren’t surprised to see Bovi pitch tent with Basketmouth over their fallout.
MC Morris mentioned how Bovi had risen to fame through Ayo Makun, who gave him a platform on his then ‘What wants to be a millionaire comedy platform’.
Now he is watching Bovi take swipe at Ayo Makun in defense of his friend, Basketmouth.
Noting how loyalty is scarce, he stated that the people that killed Jesus Christ have joined the comedy industry.
Calling for prayers for the industry, he wrote,
“People got to know Bovi proper through AY’s who wants to be a millionaire comedy platform. But I watch him today fired a stray bullet at the same AY.
Loyalty is scarce out there. The people that killed Jesus Christ have joined the comedy industry. Pray for our industry cause saboteurs, cultists, and union members are gaining ground”.
