Ebuka went viral when he posted a picture of himself at Bank W and Adesua Etomi’s star-studded wedding last year. His agbada outfit was so tremendous that it had fans talking for days to the point that it almost overshadowed the wedding. One of those present at the event was music producer, Masterkraft who faced criticisms after he shared a photo of himself rocking the aso-ebi for the wedding. The trolling became too much that he had to photoshop himself into Ebuka’s picture. Few days later, a video surface showing him punishing the tailor that sewed the outfit.

A message between Fashion Designer, Ugo Monye who made Ebuka’s popular agbada, and another prospective customer revealed the amount Ebuka ‘paid’ for the attire. The message revealed he paid N280k for the outfit. It was also reported that Ugo Monye who had only 4k followers before the outfit went viral, now has over 28k followers on his instagram account.

The trendy picture of the outfit really challenged many fashion designers to the point of replicating it. A young Nigerian lady, Yemisi Kaka, who is also a fashion designer, took to Facebook to share a photo of herself rocking a replica of Ebuka Obi-Uchendu’s legendary Agbada to Banky W and Adesua’s Traditional marriage.
