Nollywood actress, Anita Joseph has traded words with a critic who slammed her for taking a stance against a DNA test for late singer, Mohbad’s 5-month-old son, Liam with his wife, Omawunmi.
Following the death of the 27-year-old singer, many have been clamoring for a DNA test to be done on Liam to ascertain his paternity.
Defending his wife, Anita Joseph slammed those calling for DNA as she noted how Omawunmi is still grieving, besides it isn’t the place of Nigerians to demand for paternity test.
“Stop these people are grieving, this is not your place Shalom”.
A critic, who wasn’t pleased with her statement, slammed her as he pointed out how the singer’s son doesn’t share a resemblance to him.
The critic stated that he sees no reason why his wife can’t submit to DNA if she doesn’t have anything sinister.
“Be like una dey mad. Every finger points to it that the Boy is not Mohbad’s son cause I see no reason why a woman will be so scared of DNA”.
Hitting back, Anita Joseph hurled insults at him.
“Your mum is mad”.

Anita Joseph isn’t the only one who has taken a stance against conducting a DNA test for Liam.
Actress, Mary Njoku, in a post via Instagram, described it as pure evil and advised that people should not add to the widow’s misery.
The movie star stated that if the singer didn’t doubt the child’s paternity, the public should not think otherwise but should focus on getting justice for him.
Investigative journalist, Kemi Olunloyo, had something different to say as she pointed out the striking resemblance between Liam and Sam Larry.
She stated in a live video that a DNA test needs to be carried out for Mohbad’s son.
Recall that Sam Larry is one of the key suspects in the passing of Mohbad. In a video that went viral, Sam Larry was seen physically assaulting Mohbad on the set of a video. Luckily for him, Artist Zlatan was on set and had intervened.
Recall that Funke Akindele had cautioned Nigerians to be mindful of how they address people when mourning.
Taking to her Instagram page, the Box Office King noted how she has been in such a situation and it’s a terrible feeling to experience.
The mother of twins stated that if they cannot be kind to those grieving, they should keep quiet. She added that they should love and support the bereaved.
