Afrobeat superstar David Adeleke popularly known as Davido has opened up on his recent album which been breaking records.

Davido who is currently on tour for this new album had a short conversation which surfaced online with a yet-to-be-identified man and he opened up on his music career in general after the fam asked him.

The singer noted his happiness to see that people all over the world accepted his latest album compared to the rest. He also stated that he has always felt people’s indifference about his previous albums but Timeless hit a different level.

He said: I’m happy that people accepted Timeless and I feel they always doubted my album. It’s a different feel for me because people have never accepted my album so this is a fresh one for me. After my 12 years of killing sh*t. It’s a fresh face I haven’t felt this before.

Davido’s album, Timeless becomes the first African album to make history in the US

Davido continues to break records and make history with his new album, Timeless.

It is no longer news that the superstar has released his album which has been topping the charts.

Adding to the many feats the new album has recorded, Timeless is now the first African album in history to reach number 1 on US iTunes.

The good news was disclosed by Chart Data.

Davido beats Wizkid, Burna Boy, and others as his new album breaks record in the US

Just days back, Kemi Filani reported that Davido had broken records with his new album.

The “Stand Strong” singer had beaten his colleagues, Burna Boy and Wizkid to clinch the title of the highest charting album in the US.

According to chart data, Timeless is now the highest charting album by a Nigerian artist in US Apple Music history.
