Nollywood actress, Tayo Sobola, popularly known as Sotayogaga, has revealed her interest in a business venture due to the increase in the exchange rate.
It is no news that the 35-year-old is a lover of business who has ventured into many businesses, not excluding Kayanmata, jewellery, fabrics, among others.
KemifilaniNews recalls the Central Bank of Nigeria banned foreign exchange sales to Bureau De Change operators, which led to the depreciation exchange rate from N505 to N570 equivalence in 1 dollar.
According to the aso ebi seller, her new business idea is selling biscuits since the new dollar has shaken up her fabric business as sales are not coming in as they used to be.
In addition, she said purchasing her fabrics with the present dollar rate is not encouraging as it will slow down her sales and might end up not making her usual profit.
She wrote:
As i dey see am so na biscuit i go sell las las 🤣🤣. Cus the dollar rate to buy fabrics now ehnnnn…
