Actress Regina Daniel’s dad reacts to her marriage to billionaire Ned Nwoko

The joy of every father is to give the daughter away in marriage. However, this may not be so in the case of Lagos-based lawyer, Barrister Jude Ojeogwu, father of 20-year-old Actress, Regina Daniels.

Regina Daniels and Ned Nwoko recently completed the traditional introduction rites at Aboh-Ogwashi, Ogwashi-Uku in Aniocha South Local Government Area of Delta State, where the mother of the talented actress hails from.

It was discovered that the introduction rites was held in the mother’s family compound instead of the father’s ancestral home at Azungwu Quarters in the same town, Ogwashi-Uku, neither was he consulted or invited to the daughter’s pre-nuptial rites.

He is also said to be no way involved in the forthcoming wedding to be held at a date which is yet to be fixed, rather her mother, Rita Daniels and her people are said to be fully in charge.

This situation is said to be due to the fact that Ojeogwu, Regina Daniels biological father, did not pay the traditional bride price on her mother’s head as required by custom and so cannot receive same on behalf of the daughter as he is not traditionally recognized as her father.

It was leant that Ojeogwu and Daniel’s mother, Rita, lived for many years in both Ogwashi-Uku and Lagos and had other children besides Regina Daniels before going their separate ways.

The upkeep of the children was then said to have been left to their mother before Regina Daniels started making waves in Nollywood. Consequently, the children became estranged from their father.

The father in question, posted this on Facebook moments ago:

Regina daniel Ojeogwu is my biological daughter.What ever is ongoing is not to my knowledge and without my consent.The fact speaks for itself looking at the picture. Her mother Rita daniel is threading on a dangerous path and I hope she will retrace her steps.

Even the initiation ceremony into otu odu appears completely strange to Regina daniel Ojeogwu. Regina is from ogwashi uku and not from olor as being rumored.

All the opportunities for Mr Ned nwoko to discuss with me proved abortive not realising that we once lived in the same house in awoyokun street, onikpan, Lagos.

The implication of all this is that she inpregnated herself. The name Regina was my late mother’s name. I have tried to exercise restraint but Regina mother kept pushing me to wall. Am alive and not dead.”
