In response to the various speculations and criticisms, Ekene Umenwa issued a statement in which she expressed her gratitude to her friend for facilitating her meeting with Moses Bliss. She also thanked the gospel singer for gracing her wedding, describing his presence as instrumental in making the event memorable and vibrant.
