Actress Biola Bayo has cried out after recently losing out in a real estate ambassadorial deal for not being controversial like the calibre of Bobrisky and others who enjoy trending online for all the wrong reasons.
She made the revelation while reacting to actor John Njammah’s recent post where he lamented about brand ambassadorship in Nigeria.
“Gone are the days when they make you brand ambassador because you are good at what you do, intelligent and can speak intelligently…these days, all you need is to be controversial, be popular, for the wrong reasons, go naked, add an xtra bum, be flippant and you will be endorsed,, sad” John Njammah had written on Instagram and in response, Biola Bayo wrote “A big real estate boss once told me: “I like you but you’re not controversial, people like controversies” I said okay sir. I couldn’t convince him, he had a mindset already and to an extent, he was right……controversies sells.”
