2019 Grammy Awards: Ariana Grande pulls out from performance list

Apegg AdeneyoBy Apegg AdeneyoFebruary 6, 2019

US singer Ariana Grande has reportedly pulled out of performing at the 2019 Grammy Awards ceremony after she had a clash with the producers of the event.

The 25-year-old is nominated in two major Grammy categories: Best Pop Vocal Performance for “God is a Woman” and Best Pop Vocal Album for Sweetener:

The report say the singer may not even attend the event which takes place on Sunday, 10 February after she felt “insulted” by producers.

The producers had initially refused Ariana Grande to perform her new single “7 Rings” from the upcoming album Thank U, Next.

Despite the producers coming to a compromise, Ariana Grande still went on to cancel her performance because they were also trying to dictate to her the second song which she would perform.
