Rakiya Haladu, a 35-year-old woman has been apprehended by the Nasarawa State Command of National Drugs Law Enforcement Agency with 45 bags of cannabis sativa weighing about 474 kilograms worth N11,250,00.

She was arrested alongside her 54 accomplices who comprises of 12 dealers and 42 drug addicts across 13 local government areas and 18 development areas of the state.
The commandant, Justice Arinze while parading the suspects explained that 10 of the drug dealers have been convicted at the Federal High Court sitting in Lafia, the state capital.
He added that the command busted the warehouse in Lafia and arrested suspected housewife who was allegedly into drug trafficking.
Arinze confers the Commands success to the provision of Logistics to the Command by the Chairman/Executive of NDLEA, Brigadier Gen. Buba Marwa (Rtd).
He confirmed that the total 604 kilograms of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances have been seized.
