    Kidnappers reduce ransom of Otun Olubadan twins to N40m

    By Rhema OlonadeApril 14, 2018

    The abductors of Otun Olubadan’s 5 year old twins have again called to announce a slash in the ransom.

    The alleged criminals have dictated that the family pays a whopping N40 million naira as against the initial N100m, earlier requested.

    The kidnapping of the twins, a boy and a girl aged 5 years which took place on Tuesday, has replaced the smiles on the family members at Otun Olubadan Lekan Balogun’s Akobo residence with fear, and pain.

    The distraught family who have since contacted security agents on the unfortunate incident, declared that they have no means to fulfill the desires of the men of the underworld.

    Speaking with news reporters, Oba Lekan Balogun’s immediate younger brother, Alhaji Bashiru Balogun, who spoke on behalf of the family said;

    “we are equally hoping and relying on the efforts of the security agents to secure the release of the innocent kids.

    “I equally want to plead with the abductors to please, in the name of God and anything that is good to spare us this trauma and release the innocent children, who can hardly differentiate their left from right.

    “They should please just consider the innocence of the kidnapped children. You all know my brother as peace-loving and kind hearted person, who is ready to sacrifice anything for the happiness of others, he doesn’t in anyway deserve this kind of treatment from the society he had committed himself to for several years now.”

    Up until the time of this report, no arrest has been made by the security operatives.
