His full name is Yul Chibuike Daniel Edochie, and he was born on the 7th of January 1982 to veteran actor Pete Edochie and Josephine Edochie.
The talented actor was raised in Anambra and Lagos state, and the records revealed Yul Edochie is the last born of Pete Edochie’s six children.
Yul Edochie has five elder siblings; four brothers and a sister. His older brother, named Linc Edochie, is also a popular figure in the movie industry.

Yul Edochie had his primary school education in Enugu state where he attended Lillians’ Day Nursery School and Robinson Street Primary School; his secondary education saw him attend three different schools.

Career
Without the direct influence of Pete Edochie, Yul Edochie joined the movie industry in 2005, making his debut in the movie titled “The Exquires” alongside the Late Justus Esiri and Enebeli Elebuwa.
Yul Edochie, however, didn’t make it to the limelight until 2007 after featuring alongside Genevieve Nnaji and Desmond Elliot in the film titled “Wind Of Glory.”
Over the years Yul has gone on to act in numerous movies, he is known for this baritone voice. Yul Edochie married at the young age of 22 to May Aligwe, now May Yul Edochie; according to the records, the two met during their days as undergraduates at the university in 1998 and exchanged marital vows in 2004.
