Pastor Bimbo Odukoya was the associate Pastor of the Fountain of Life Church which has turned out to be one of the popular religious centres in Nigeria today.
The late cleric was a versatile woman; Pastor Bimbo was a televangelist in an era when it was growing in Nigeria; she was a mentor, counsellor, public speaker and gave a lot as a Nigerian to the country’s development.
Aside from Nigeria, Pastor Bimbo Odukoya was a popular face outside the country, and this saw her being among several individuals chosen by Samsung to represent Nigeria in carrying the Olympic Torch in Athens, Greece, during the 2004 Olympic Games.

Pastor Bimbo Odukoya’s biography
Her maiden name was Abimbola Rosemary Segun-Williams, and she was born on the 12th of September 1960; there are no details of who her parents or siblings were.
Bimbo Odukoya is a Nigerian by birth and was 45 years old when she died in 2005.
Education
Pastor Bimbo Odukoya was a graduate of the University of Ibadan, where she bagged a degree in History and Archaeology.
Career
After her graduation from UI, she started working at the National Theatre in Lagos but later resigned to become a minister full time.
The records revealed that from 1987 to 1999, Pastor Bimbo Odukoya was the head of the counselling department at the TREM led by Bishop Mike Okonkwo.
Before her death, Pastor Bimbo was the host of Single and Married, a television program broadcast within and outside Nigeria and bothered to the challenges people face in marriages and relationships; it was based on content biblical principles and concepts.
Personal life
Pastor Bims married the founding pastor of the Fountain of Life Church, Pastor Taiwo Odukoya, and their union was blessed with three children named Tolu Odukoya, Pastor Jimmy Odukoya and Tobi Odukoya.
Death
Pastor Bimbo Odukoya was part of the passengers that boarded the Sosoliso Airlines Flight 1145 going to Port Harcourt from Abuja, but it was involved in a crash while landing at Port Harcourt International Airport on the 10th of December 2005, although the female cleric survived the initial impact but she died from injuries on 11 December 2005.
