His full name is Miguel Jontel Pimentel, and he was born on the 23rd of October 1985 in San Pedro, Los Angeles, California, USA, to an African American mother and a Mexican American father.

The record revealed that Miguel’s parents went their separate ways when he was eight years old.

Miguel has a brother and has been interested in singing from a young age as he was introduced to the older R&B his mother used to listen to; his father, on the other hand, loves funk, hip hop, jazz and classic rock.

Career
