Folake was born and on October 26, 1983, to Babatunji and Felicia Olowofeyeku. She would be 38 in September 2021.
While much is not known about her mother, her father, however, was a Nigerian politician, educationist, lawyer and leader, a Yoruba and native of Ilesha in Osun State of Nigeria, whose political career started in the mid-1950s.
He was the attorney general of the old western region.
Folake was named after the first female Senior Advocate of Nigeria SAN, Folake Solanke.
She is the youngest of 20 children. One of her elder siblings is the musician and guitarist Toby Foyeh.
Education
Olowofoyeku went to Igbinedion Education Centre, a Montessori boarding school in Benin, Edo state.
She then switched to Vivian Fowler Memorial College for Girls in Ikeja, Lagos and again attended Oxbridge Tutorial College.
However, a the age of 18, Folake Olowofoyeku moved to the United States.
Although initially exploring economics in the expectation of becoming an attorney, Olowofoyeku obtained a B.A. in Theatre from City College of New York.
