Nigerian singer, comedian and actor Folarin Falana better known as Falz Tha Bahd Guy, has been trending over the past few days ahead of the End SARS memorial match, which is scheduled to take place on the 20th of October 2021.

Falz’s Biography

His full name is Folarin Falana, and he was born on the 27th of October 1990 to Nigeria’s respected human rights activists and lawyers Femi and Funmi Falana in Lagos state, Nigeria.

Falz’s father Femi Falana is a former President of the West Africa Bar Association (WABA) is known for defending journalists, activists, as well as voiceless people in the society.

The rapper has a sister named Folu Falana; Falz is a Nigerian by birth and would be 31 years sold in 2021.

Education

Folarin Falana is educated as he went to Leo’s Catholic Primary School for his primary education and later moved to Olashore International School in Osun state, where he completed his secondary school studies. Falz would later follow his parent’s education path as he proceeded to the University of Reading to bag an LLB Honors degree in Law. In 2012, Falz was called to bar after graduating from Nigeria Law School in Abuja.

Career

Falz has been interested in the entertainment industry as a teenager; during his high school days, the talented rapper formed a music group named The School Boys together with some friends, where he nurtured his talent.

He released his first music project in 2009 titled Shakara: The Mixtape, which comprised of a compilation of his recordings. In 2011 he dropped some singles that pushed him further into the entertainment industry; however, he didn’t make it to the limelight until 2014, when he released his debut studio album.

Falz is known for his discipline and happens to be among Nigerian celebrities who are not controversial; he is the founder of Bahd Guys Records, under which he releases his songs.
