Charles Soludo went viral on Monday after he accused his opponent Andy Uba of kidnapping and forgery during the Anambra Gubernatorial Debate organised by Arise TV on Monday.
Soludo, in his statement, accused Andy of kidnapping a sitting governor and forging his Senior Secondary School Certificate.

Charles Soludo’s biography
His full name is Charles Chukwuma Soludo, and he was born on the 28th of July 1960 in Aguata Local Government Area of Anambra State, Nigeria.
Although little is known about Charles Soludo’s childhood, he is however believed to have been academically sound owing to his academic pursuit and career.
Education
Charles Soludo holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from the University of Nsukka, Enugu state; the record revealed he graduated from the school in 1984 with a first-class. In 1987, he returned to the same school where he bagged a Masters degree in Economics and held a PhD in Economics from UNN.
Career
After he became a professor in 1998, Charles Soludo became a visiting professor at Swarthmore College in Swarthmore, Pennsylvania, USA.
The former CBN Governor was a visiting scholar at the International Monetary Fund, the University of Cambridge, the Brookings Institution, the University of Warwick and the University of Oxford, where he lectured on various aspects of Economics.
Charles Soludo, however, made it to the political limelight in 2004 when former President Olusegun made him the Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria CBN. He contested to be the Governor of Anambra state under the Peoples Democratic Party PDP in 2009.
In 2013, Charles Soludo left the PDP to join APGA and is the party flag bearer in 2021.
