The song did well in the market and introduced more music fans to his talent. As a result of his victory, he released the single Lady in January 2020. The song became popular on social media after various influencers reposted it on their pages and content creators used it as background music in their videos.

    Lady’s success paved the way for Asake to release the hit song Mr Money, which was one of the most popular singles of 2020. The song earned him a new moniker: Mr. Money.

    Asake released the single Omo Ope in 2022. The song quickly became popular on the internet. This time, it reached the ears of rapper and music executive Olamide. The older artist was taken with the song and decided to record his verse to it. Soon after, Olamide invited Asake to a meeting and offered him a contract with the YBNL record label. Asake accepted the offer and became a member of the YBNL family. On February 8, 2022, he was revealed as YBNL’s newest signee.

    Following that, Asake released his debut EP, Ololade Asake. The album contains four hit songs: Omo Ope, Sungba, Trabaye, and Baba God. In February 2022, he performed Baba God at a live session organized by Glitch Africa.

    He recorded the remix of Sungba with Grammy Award winner Burna Boy. The song was released on March 28th, 200, and has been at the top of the music charts for several weeks.

    He was a featured artist on DJ Spinall’s track Palazzo. The song was released on May 13, 2022. TG Omori shot and directed the video for the single.

    On June 16, 2022, he released the chart-topping single, Peace Be Unto You (PBUY). The song received positive feedback from critics and has received thousands of streams from fans.

    Grace discovered him in 2020, when one of his freestyles, Lady, went viral and received reposts from top celebrities across multiple online platforms. The freestyle quickly went viral, and the production was credited to Blaque Beats.
