Adam Sandler was born on September 9, 1966, to Judith and Stanley Sandler. His mother was a nursery teacher, and his father was an electrical engineer. He belongs to the Jewish ethnicity. When Adan was six years old, his family shifted to Manchester, where he attended Manchester Central High School.
