One Destiny Ighalo and ten others have been sentenced to prison by Justice Adamu Turaki Mohammed of the Federal High Court in Port Harcourt, Rivers State. About eight people were reportedly killed in Damasak in Borno State when a fighter jet providing cover for ground troops missed its target. The fighter jet fired at a family holding a naming ceremony for their new born baby, killing the new baby, both parents and five guests. Some armed robbers have reportedly killed three persons when they attacked a bank in Issele-Uku, Aniocha North Local Government Area in Delta State.
