Popular Nigerian actor, social media made comedian and On-Air Personality Nedu, who is popular for his show on Wazobia FM, has been trending on social media in the last few hours after his ex-wife, Uzoamaka Ohiri called him out.

This is coming barely hours after Annie Macaulay Idbia called out her husband and singer, Innocent 2Baba Idibia, on social media. It, however, looked like whatever went wrong in their relationship has been settled as Annie, who removed the name Idibia from her social media account, has added it back.

Nedu Wazobia’s Biography

His real name is Chinedu Emmanuel, and he was born On the 5th of August 1982 in Kaduna state. There are no details of who his parents or siblings are. There is also no information on his childhood.


Many may not know, but Nedu Wazobia didn’t study Mass Communication or anything related to the media. He was trained as an Accountant and graduated from Madonna University, Elele Okija, Anambra state.

He observed his NYSC one year scheme in Jigawa state.


During his NYSC, he was posted to a radio station as his place of primary assignment under the scheme, and he was made an on-air personality at the radio state.

At the end of the scheme, Nedu moved to Abuja, where he worked as a site manager; he, however, revealed that the period was unfulfilling for him.

He left his job as a site manager after two years and relocated to Lagos to pursue his dream job as a broadcaster and entertainer.

Nedu is currently an OAP with Wazobia FM, a popular radio station In Lagos state. He is popular for adding a different twist to his pidgin interpretation of the daily news.


Aside from being an OAP, Nedu is a comedian and has many skits available on social media. He goes by different names in many of his skit, and some of them are Officer Jato, Sister Nkechi, Alhaji Musa, among others.

As an actor, Nedu Wazobia has acted in a number of movies, popular among them is King of Boys and Chief Daddy.


Nedu Wazobia was previously married to Uzoamaka Ohiri, who recently called him out on social media; their marriage ended in 2018. However, Uzoamaka her statement claimed the OAP hit her during their marriage. Nedu has, however, cleared the air as he stated that nothing of such happened. He went on to reveal that their first child was not his after a DNA test was conducted.

According to the reports, Nedu remarried a lady identified as Funmi from Ondo state on Saturday, April 20, 2019. The ceremony, which was said to have taken place in Lekki, was done on a low key.

Buhari to visit Imo state on Thursday


The Governor of Imo state, Hope Uzodinma, has revealed that President Muhammadu Buhari will visit the state on Thursday, September 9.

Uzodinma disclosed this while addressing reporters at the Sam Mbakwe International Cargo Airport, Owerri, on Saturday.

The Governor, who spoke following his return from an official trip to Abuja, said that Buhari would commission some “significant projects” executed by his administration.

He said that he visited Abuja to “address some political matters and some critical issues that are supposed to be handled in Abuja.”
