With 2021 more than halfway gone, we have witnessed different albums from popular singers and the upcoming; this is proof that the music industry becomes competitive.

- 1. Somewhere Between Beauty and Magic (SBBM) Album – Joeboy
Joeboy once again proved he is a master of the act with the album released in 2021. Following the massive success of the song ‘Nobody’, the new album made waves in the early part of 2021.
The album contained 14 tracks, with the likes of Killertunes, MoGBeatz and a few others working as producers on it.
- 2. Wondaaand by Teni
Nigerian female star, Teni keeps proving she is different and not the regular female singer in the country. Following hits songs like Uyo Meyo, Case, Power Rangers, among others, Teni blessed her fans with a new album Wondaaland. The album came with only a single feature from DMW boss, Davido. It has 17 tracks. One of the popular songs on the album is ‘For You’, where she featured Davido.
- 3. The Prodigal by Mr P
Following the end of Psquare music group, Mr P has continued to show he can perform better as a solo artist, the same way he served in the defunct group.
His album ‘The Prodigal’ was well received by fans, and it contained 16 tracks with features from the likes Wande Coal, Tiwa Savage, Simi, Tamar Braxton, among others.
- 4. Rum and Boogie by Peruzzi
Peruzzi, who is one of the artists signed to Davido’s DMW label, is one good songwriter, and he proved it in his album Rum and Boogie, released in April.
He worked so hard on all 20 tracks that left his fans begging for more. The singer split the album into two sections; the first half had 10 tracked and was named “Rum”, and the remaining 10, called the “Boogie”.
