Super Eagles winger, Samuel Kalu, collapsed on the pitch just five minutes into Bordeaux’s Ligue 1 clash against Marseille on Sunday.
However, after being treated by medical staff, Kalu was allowed to play on.
The 23-year-old was eventually taken off after eight minutes.
Kalu had been preparing to form a defensive wall at a free-kick, when he collapsed to the turf in the 25 degree Marseille heat.
Concerned team-mates formed a human shield around him, the like of which was seen when Christian Eriksen suffered a cardiac arrest during Euro 2020.
Thankfully, however, Kalu appeared to be okay, remarkably getting up and playing on before the decision to come off was taken out of his hands.
He did touch the ball again in the match, but was soon replaced by Remi Oudin.
‘Care less about pissing people off when doing the right thing’ Singer Timi Dakolo finally breaks the table
Nigerian singer and vocalist Timi Dakolo has expressed his thought on having to please people in a situation where it hinders one from getting to his goals.
Taking to his Instagram space, the singer said the moment you start making choices and doing things to move your life forward is the moment people start getting pissed about what you do.
One of the biggest fear to overcome is the courage to say 'no' or overlook the feeling of people getting pissed since you have a goal to pursue.
Speaking further, Timi Dakolo urged his fans to care less about people's thought about them when they have made decisions to move to the right direction.
