Actors Oby Gold Edozie and Clarion Chukwurah have publicly defended Apostle Suleman who was recently accused of being sexually involved with actress Chioma Ifemeludike.
Kemi Filani recalls that over the weekend Nollywood actress Chioma Ifemeludike confessed how she allegedly slept with Apostle Suleman Johnson after a colleague, Lynda Clems hooked them up.
In a length confession via her Instagram, Chioma narrated how Ms Clems linked her up to have a swell time with the cleric in one of the popular hotels in Nigeria.
“Dear @lyndaclems, I have to tell the world about that hookup you arrange between @johnson_suleman_official and myself on the 20th November 2016 in a hotel at Ikeja, the apostle secretly gave me his number and we had a second meeting at oriental hotels Lagos. I’m sorry my conscience can’t hold it anymore. I encourage you to tell the truth as a mother and a Christian, to put the devil to shame and save millions of souls been misled… To my family and friends, I am sorry, don’t judge me…please pray for me so the light of God will continue to expose every works of darkness in my life and the church of God,” she captioned the video she posted.
In his defense, actress Oby Gold Edozie wrote on Instagram hours ago “Firstly, I’ve never met Apostle Johnson Suleman till date. However, he helped my critical daughter financially. I explained to him on phone that I’ve been off Nollywood for years, helping my critically ill daughter who at 6 years plus, cannot walk, sit alone or hold her neck for long.
We travel abroad periodically for her treatment. I emptied my account over the years. He gave us 2 million and prayed for my daughter. This is a man I have never met before!
Men of GOD are human & blood flows in their body not water. Whether the accusations be false or true, man should leave it to GOD not throw stones when no human is perfect.
Let’s call a spade a spade, if you read scriptures, you’ll find that GOD did not disown prophets who had many wives. King David had 8 wives, Jacob had 4 wives, etc. God still respects and blesses a prophet who has a beautiful wife and helps the needy. As humans, we should look beyond our imperfections (if any), and focus on the good deeds.
In conclusion, I’m coming out to praise Apostle Johnson Suleiman, because he has a good heart. A heart of gold, which is a rare trait in this generation where most people who have capacity to help, would rather ignore your needs than grant genuine help.
Responding, Clarion Chukwurah wrote “Never realized you were going through so much. Apostle Suleiman is a good Man, Very generous and has assisted so many people, I am a witness to that. The WORD of GOD says do not judge and moreover His Word said His judgement will begin first from the Church.”
