Big Brother Naija’s Cindy Okafor, has taken to social media to advise her fans, followers and loved ones on how to treat themselves.

According to the Igbo-born singer and social media influencer, people should take care of themselves first before thinking about others.

The reality star further people can drive miles to bury someone but can’t cross a street to help them when they are in need.

She took to her Instagram story and wrote, “Put yourself first and take good care of you. People can drive miles to come bury you but can’t cross a street to help you when you are still living”

2023: FG appointing VCs to rig elections — Gov. Wike


The Governor of Rivers state, Nyesom Wike, has claimed the federal government is appointing only Vice Chancellors that would help the All Progressives Congress (APC) rig the 2023 elections.

Wike alleged that only academics who agree to submit names of politically exposed lecturers as returning officers to rig elections for APC, are being appointed as Vice Chancellors of federal universities.

He however warned Vice-Chancellors and lecturers that those contemplating rig elections in Rivers State will be treated as coup plotters.

The Special Assistant to the governor on Media, Kelvin Ebiri, in a statement in Port Harcourt, stated that Wike made the during the foundation laying ceremony for the construction of 9200 capacity ultramodern convocation arena of the University of Port Harcourt by the Rivers State government on Tuesday.


APC announces new date to end registration


The All Progressives Congress (APC) has extended membership registration and revalidation in Imo, Kwara, Ogun, and Rivers states for another two weeks.

This was contained in a statement by the party's caretaker Extra-Ordinary Convention Planning Committee Secretary, Senator John James Akpanudoehede, in Abuja on Tuesday.

The Secretary said the extension followed the recommendation of the party’s Membership Registration Appeals Committee.

“Following the recommendation of the Membership Registration Appeals Committee, the Caretaker/Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee (CECPC) of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has approved the continuation of the Party’s membership registration, revalidation and register update exercise in Imo, Kwara, Ogun, and Rivers states.

“With this approval, the membership registration, revalidation, and register update exercise in the four states will continue for two weeks.
