Kemi FIlani News earlier reported that veteran Nigerian singer, Olanrewaju Abdul-Ganiu Fasasi, popularly known as Sound Sultan had died of Cancer of the throat.
The “Mathematics” crooner died in the early hours of Sunday, July 11, at the age of 44, following his battle with Angioimmunoblastic T- Cell Lymphoma.
The singer was buried same day in New Jersey, USA, in accordance to Islamic rites. Watch video from his burial below:

Hours after the family announced the singer’s demise, Tuface shared a black image on his Instagram page and captioned it ‘NO.’
In a new post shared on Instagram, Tuface said the news of Sound Sultan’s death is still unreal, and he could not bring himself to write a tribute for him.
Tuface said he’s grateful for the music star and the blessing he represented in his life. He promised the deceased that his family and would be safe and live a good life.
