Leke Adeboye, the last son of the general overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has disclosed how he went against his mother, Pastor Folu Adeboye’s 73rd birthday wish.
According to him, his mother Pastor Folu did not want to celebrate her 73rd birthday today but his late brother, “Pastor Dare wouldn’t allow it”
Kemi Filani recalls that the Adeboye family lost their son Dare at age 42 in May after he died in his sleep in Akwa Ibom where he was based with his family.
Posting a video on his Instagram page hours ago showing he organized a little gathering for his mother, Leke captioned it:
“Yes you don’t want any birthday celebration but my gee PDee won’t allow me to fall our hands.. so I’m doing it,” he wrote.
Pastor Folu is fondly called Mummy G.O. by members of the church. She was born on Tuesday July 13, 1948 to the family of Jacob Adelusi Adeyokunnu.
Meanwhile the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor E.A Adeboye, in his birthday message earlier tweeted, “Happy Birthday @PastorFAAdeboye. Your support over the years showed that God was really mindful of me when he created you. God bless you sweetheart and you will live many more years as long as Jesus tarries by his grace. I love you!
