Pastor Adeboye’s son, Leke goes against mother, Pastor Folu Adeboye’s 73rd birthday wish

Leke Adeboye, the last son of the general overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has disclosed how he went against his mother, Pastor Folu Adeboye’s 73rd birthday wish.

According to him, his mother Pastor Folu did not want to celebrate her 73rd birthday today but his late brother, “Pastor Dare wouldn’t allow it”

Kemi Filani recalls that the Adeboye family lost their son Dare at age 42 in May after he died in his sleep in Akwa Ibom where he was based with his family.

Posting a video on his Instagram page hours ago showing he organized a little gathering for his mother, Leke captioned it:

“Yes you don’t want any birthday celebration but my gee PDee won’t allow me to fall our hands.. so I’m doing it,” he wrote.

Pastor Folu is fondly called Mummy G.O. by members of the church. She was born on Tuesday July 13, 1948 to the family of Jacob Adelusi Adeyokunnu.

Meanwhile the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor E.A Adeboye, in his birthday message earlier tweeted, “Happy Birthday @PastorFAAdeboye. Your support over the years showed that God was really mindful of me when he created you. God bless you sweetheart and you will live many more years as long as Jesus tarries by his grace. I love you!

Kemi FIlani News earlier reported that veteran Nigerian singer, Olanrewaju Abdul-Ganiu Fasasi, popularly known as Sound Sultan had died of Cancer of the throat.

The "Mathematics" crooner died in the early hours of Sunday, July 11, at the age of 44, following his battle with Angioimmunoblastic T- Cell Lymphoma.

Actor Yemi Solade fights dirty with his followers over Amala

Popular Yoruba actor, Yemi Olufela Solade, has taken to his Instagram page to fight dirty with some of his followers over amala.

Yemi had posted a photo of himself eating amala, ewedu and gbegiri, a popular Yoruba delicacy. Things however took an odd turn after a follower called him out for using cutlery to eat the Yoruba traditional dish.

Yemi Solade wrote, "Make una join me.... AMALA + EWEDU/GBEGIRI + GOAT.... to be washed down with Cold Table Water."

A follower called him out for using cutlery instead of hand. He commented in Yoruba, "won gbe amala fun e ohn yo sibi oun toye kio towo bo".

Davido secures a job for late Obama DMW’s son in his father’s company


David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido has reportedly fulfilled his promises to his late friend, Obama DMW by securing a job for his only son, Malik.

According to reports, Davido being a shareholder in his father’s company has secured immediate employment for the young man as soon as he finishes school.
