France international and Paris Saint Germain PSG star, Kylian Mbappe has reportedly rejected a new deal with the French club.
The reports revealed that PSG had offered Mbappe a new deal that could see him remain at PSG beyond next summer.
But with the look of this, Mbappe could be a free agent next summer as he hopes to move elsewhere.
While PSG are hoping to keep the 22-year-old at the club, a report by Marca however claimed that the player and the club officials are far apart in their contractual negotiations.
The report revealed that Mbappe prefers to sign a new contract with the guarantee of being able to make the switch elsewhere if another club makes a suitable offer.
PSG on the other hand don’t want such a clause in the new contracts.
Mbappe departure at PSG is long overdue, at a young age of 22, he still stands a good chance of winning significant titles by leaving the French toppers and moving to a club like Chelsea where his fellow compatriots, N’Golo Kante and Olivier Giroud, have lifted the Champions League trophy among other titles.
