Nollywood actor Alesh Ola Sanni has vented his anger and laments bitterly about being called a Nigerian after visiting an embassy in Washington DC.
In a post shared on his Instagram page, the actor averred that anything associated with Nigeria’s name is always embarrassing.
Giving reasons for his statement, the actor said he visited a Nigerian embassy in Washington DC, and there was no fan but only a fan for over thirty people.
In the video shared on his Instagram page, some people at the embassy was seen using paper to fan themselves over the heat being experienced.
He wrote: Anything that has to do with the name Nigeria is embarrassing imagine Nigerian Embassy here in Washington DC, no AC, just a fan for over 30 people, abeg why una dey alway disgrace us like this.. this is arrant nonsense werey ni gbogbo yin.
Ahead of the resumption of its Continuous Voter Education next week, the Independent National Electoral Commission has introduced an online portal for registration.
The INEC Chairman, Mahmood Yakubu, in an statement released on Tuesday titled “Continuous Voter Registration: Media professionals, INEC agree to sensitise citizens,” said that the online registration will help to reduce the burden of long queues during CVR.
He said, “In the next one week, Monday 28th June 2021, the Commission will resume the Continuous Voter Registration nationwide.
“In doing so, the Commission is introducing a portal to enable eligible Nigerians to commence registration as voters online before completing the exercise physically at designated centres nationwide”.

The Synagogue Church of All Nations has denied reports on social media that Sarah, daughter of the late Prophet TB Joshua gave birth to a baby boy on June 12.
TB Joshua is the founder of the Synagogue Church of All Nations. He died on June 5 barely a week to his 58th birthday.
A reliable source in the church told our correspondent it is not true that Sarah a lawyer by profession put to bed.
