Nollywood actress Rachael Okonkwo turned 34 today, May 26, and she released these stunning new photos of herself posing in lovely dresses to celebrate her day.

Rachael Okonkwo hails from Ukpata in Uzo Uwani Local government area of Enugu State. She graduated from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, in Enugu state.

She started acting while she was a child, but she switched career to dancing due to lack of movie roles. She joined Nollywood in 2007 playing very minor roles.

In 2008, she played a supporting role to Ini Edo& Van Vicker in Royal War 2, also in 2010 alongside Patience Ozokwor and John Okafor in Open and Close 1&2.

Her first major role and consequently her breakthrough movie came in 2014.

‘NYSC scheme will not be scrapped’ Minister of Youths and Sports

The Minister of Youths and Sports Development, Sunday Dare, has dismissed reports alleging the NYSC scheme will be scrapped.

Kemi Filani News recall that the bill to scrap the NYSC scheme reached the second reading in the House of Representatives, which some feel has outlived its usefulness.

According to a tweet from his verified Twitter handle, he said the government is committed to sustaining the scheme.

''The NYSC scheme remains one of the greatest tools for National development for our youth. The commitment of the government to sustaining the NYSC scheme remains. Dynamic Reforms and Initiatives towards current realities are ongoing. Nigeria will stand with her youth.'' He tweeted.


Iheanacho reacts as Leicester miss out on Champions League


Leicester City's Kelechi Iheanacho has expressed his disappointment following the club's failure to qualify for next season’s Champions League.

The Foxes lost 4-2 at the King Power on the last day of the 2020/2021 campaign, to end hopes of playing in the prestigious competition.

Iheanacho has claimed he is proud of the Foxes, while stating that they would build on their FA Cup triumph next term.

“Disappointed to miss out on UCL qualification, we gave it all until the last moment. I’m proud of my team, winning the FA Cup was a dream for us.

Chukwueze fit to face Man Utd in Europa League final


Villarreal winger, Samuel Chukwueze, could make his return in the Europa League final against Manchester United on Wednesday.

The Nigerian star flew to Gdansk with the rest of the Yellow Submarine squad ahead of the clash.

Chukwueze was stretchered off in pain during the second leg last-four clash against Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium as his team held their hosts to a goalless draw.
