The beautiful piece birthed from a place of gratitude and deep reverence of the sovereignty of God because He keeps His word and promise concerning us as recorded in Thessalonians 5:24 which says: “Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it”.

COVID-19: Fresh curfew imposed in Bayelsa over new wave

The Bayelsa government has imposed a 8pm to 6pm curfew in the state, in a bid to prevent the spread of the new wave of COVID-19 in the state.

This was announced by Chief Ayibaina Duba, the Commissioner for Information, Orientation and Strategy, in a statement issued on Friday.

Duba said the measure was a precautionary step aimed at protecting public health.

He explained that security agencies had been directed to enforce the directive which takes effect from Saturday, May 15.

“As part of proactive measures to prevent the spread of the surging trait of the new variants of COVID-19, Bayelsa State Government hereby imposes a dusk to dawn curfew from 8pm to 6 am daily.
