More PDP Governors will join APC – Ayade

The Governor of Cross River, Ben Ayade, has claimed that more governors elected on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) will join the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Ayade who announced his defection from PDP to APC on Thursday, stated this when he featured as a guest on Channels Television’s Politics Today.

“Just watch out, you will see; you will just realise that I know what I am saying,” he stated when he was asked to disclose some of his colleagues mulling their defection.

Governor Ayade added, “I am happy to announce to you that very soon, more governors are joining (the APC), because what we want to achieve is a country where we all can sit with the President and agree on our succession process, we don’t have to fight.”

He denied the claim that he moved to APC after he suffered a huge loss at the recent PDP congress held in his state.

Rather, the governor stressed that he was in control and had a firm grip on the PDP until he announced his exit from the ruling party.

Mimi Movie review: Star studded, under performance

Mimi The Movie centres on old and tiring plot of a spoilt and unyielding rich kid getting sent off to the slum to be able to appreciate wealth by seeing how the other half strives to survive.

Directed by journalist turned filmmaker, Samuel Olatunji, Mimi which stars Bianca Oguwanne as the titular character (the spoilt rich kid that needs to be taught a lesson) also features Ireti Doyle, Ali Baba, Lizzy Jay,  Lateef Adedimeji. Afeez Oyetoro, Bimbo Akintola, Deyemi Okanlawon, Toyin Abraham, Jide Kosoko, Ufuoma McDermott, and more.

No doubt star-studded but this was part of the flaw, as majority of the top stars only played minor roles (Waka Pass).

Aside the fact that we are tired of the  Rich Spoilt kid in a Ghetto, the movie would...
