A popular Nigerian drug lord, Tiger Mustafa has been nabbed by the Indian’s Narcotic Control Bureau on Sunday night, May 2, at Anjuna in North Goa.
He was declared wanted after the NCB and Anjuna police visited Negi cafe at Arambol beach in North Goa and seized various drugs as gathered by a senior NCB official.
“Tiger Mustafa was arrested from Anjuna on Sunday by a joint team of local police and NCB,” a senior NCB official said.
Mustafa was sheltered by one Cajitan Fernandes after the raid as he was on the run.
Cajitan and Ranbir Singh, the caretaker of Negi cafe have also been placed under arrest by the NCB.
“This drug syndicate was being operated by one suspect, Mustafa alias Tiger, a Nigerian national. Further, the caretaker of Negi Cafe, Ranbir Singh has been placed under arrest. NCB Goa has summoned the shack owner for further investigation.” said Sameer Wankhede, Zonal Director, NCB.
According to NCB, 58 grams of Amphetamine, 15 blots of LSD, Cocaine, Mephedrone, Heroin, Ecstacy, MDMA were confiscated during the operation.
