Gov. Ayade dumps PDP for APC

Governor Ben Ayade of Cross River state, has dumped the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) for the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

He announced his decision on Thursday morning in a meeting with six APC governors.

The Governors had visited him at the Government House in Calabar, the capital of the state.

The APC delegation was led by Yobe Governor, Mai Mala Buni.

Buni is also the National Caretaker Committee chairman of the APC.

Boko Haram leader, Shekau reportedly killed after ISWAP attack


The leader of Boko Haram faction, Jama'tu Ahlis Sunna Lidda'awati wal-Jihad (JAS), Abubakar Shekau, has reportedly been killed.

Eons Intelligence reports that his death happened during an attack by the Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP), a splinter group.

ISWAP fighters, led by its commander, Bana Duguri, stormed the Sambisa hideout of Boko Haram.

Shekau was said to have blown himself up to avoid being captured alive.

This is not the first news about the death of Shekau. If true, ISWAP will likely make an announcement in the coming days.

Nigerian singer, Skales has angrily called out his colleague, MC Galaxy and also threatened to beat him up.

According to Skales, Mc Galaxy is a stupid, smelling and a fuck boy.

Taking to his Insta story on Instagram to say this, Skales wrote;

"One day, i go beat that stupid smelling Mc Galaxy… Fuck boy"

Although Skales did not disclose what transpired between him and MC Galaxy, it is quite obvious the two artists are not on good terms.

Woman stabs husband to death for impregnating another lady

Ogun State police command arrested one Olanshile Nasirudeen, 47, for allegedly stabbing her 51-year-old husband to death in Ijebu Ode area of the state.

In a statement, the command’s spokesperson, DSP Abimbola Oyeyemi, said the suspect, a co-butcher and 4th wife of the deceased, was arrested following a distress call received by the DPO of Obalende divisional headquarters, Ijebu-Ode.

Reports gathered showed that Olanshile saw the woman recently impregnated by her husband at the abattoir and started investigating why she had an intimacy with her husband.

This led to a hot quarrel between her and the deceased, resulting from which the suspect picked a knife and stabbed the dead at the back joint of his left leg, thereby cutting one of his veins. He was quickly rushed to a...
