‘Fraud is not hustling, you’re a thief’ – Actress Georgina Onuoha

Nollywood actress Georgina Onuoha has slammed those using illicit means to acquire wealth and the need to differentiate ill-gotten wealth from genuine wealth.

In a post shared on her Instagram page, the actress said no matter how an individual tries to sugarcoat fraud and manipulating other people to make money, fraud is equivalent to being a thief.

Gorgina warned people against worshipping criminals, embezzling public funds meant for road construction, schools, electricity and other basic infrastructure.

According to the actress, some of the slay queen being worshipped on social media benefit from money meant for retirees, teachers and doctors.

She added that until ill-gotten wealth is differentiated from actual wealth build on integrity, people will continue to be their worst nightmare.

She wrote: Fraud is not hustle. Manipulating others to make illicit money is not hustle. No matter how you sugarcoat it, you are a thief. End of discussion. Hustle and earn with pride.
There is respect and dignity in labour that you built and worked for with honesty and truthfulness.
Stop worshipping criminals stealing money meant to build roads, hospitals, schools, clean water, electricity and basic infrastructure in your communities and country.

Remember that that slay Queen you are worshipping on social is eating money given to her by public office holders meant to pay your fathers retirement and pay doctors and teachers so they don’t go on strike in your community.
Until we begin to differentiate between ill-gotten wealth and actual wealth built on integrity, we will continue to be our own worst nightmare. Have a fabulous day/night my darling Ginafam. Hustle with pride and integrity and may our creator bless the works of our hands.
