Fast-rising talented artist Maj has continued to soar since her debut in the Nigerian music industry. However, she went off the radar for a while, leaving her fans hungry and worried.
In a recent chat with KEMIFILANI, the ”Cup Don Full” crooner who opened up that her new project, Sweet Rocket has been keeping her busy also expressed some of her other sides.
When asked what she would do when she catches her man pants down cheating, Maj said, “Can I forgive a cheating partner? I like to think yes but I have never been in that situation, so I definitely won’t tell you how I would react if I ever find myself in that position but do I think I can forgive yeah I think I can.”
Whether she can forgive and take back a cheating partner, the fast rising singer says, “if I catch my partner pants down with another lover, I be pissed and I don’t think I can deal with that situation, there’s one thing about hearing about it, seeing is a whole different ball game”
When further asked if she’s scared of marriage, Maj responds, “Yeah most definitely scared of marriage, it’s never been a thing I get excited about, but I’m not gonna let my fears define me and I hope that I’ll be mature enough one day to handle the struggles that comes with it. And no, I can’t marry an entertainer, I have a type and they are not entertainers. My turn off in a relationship are people who lie , people who brag, pride ,uncleanliness,”
On her new EP, she explained further, “My new EP is called Sweet Rocket, inspired by love, money, and everything in between. I’ve been working on it for quite some time, and I’m excited that you get to listen to it soon. There are five songs on my EP, and four of them are new songs plus a bonus track. All the songs are my favorites, but if I had to pick one, it would be ‘Hot Flame.’
Maj also expressed her thoughts on the recent international awards won by Nigerian artists.
“Burna Boy is an exceptional artist and well-deserving of a Grammy award. He is an inspiration to the rest of us to work harder and believe in our dreams,” she stated.
