Nollywood actress, Toyin Abraham has opened up on why she gave her villages a free cinema experience to watch the new movie she featured in titled ‘The Prophetess’.
Kemi Filani recalls that a few days ago, Toyin wowed many with her decision to take the new movie she featured in ‘The Prophetess’ to her village for everyone there to watch.
According to Toyin, the village is where she grew up and she decided to give back to the villagers by giving them the opportunity to watch the new movie in a cinema setting.
Toyin also used the opportunity to advice her fans and followers not to look down on their humble beginnings.
Taking to Instagram to share the video of when the villagers were watching the movie, the mother of one wrote;
I want to use this video to encourage and motivate all of you today. Don’t look down on your humble beginnings. I grew up in this hood(this place I mean this environment)it was tough but I kept my eyes focused on greatness…I told everyone to call me world best. I worked really hard and with a lot of prayer and Gods grace, I am where I am today. You too can become great regardless of your upbringing. This is the message of #prophetess and this is my message to you. Go and be great in Jesus name!!!
