Media personality Toke Makinwa has taken to social media to reveal some facts about marriage and relationship.
In a series of posts on her Instagram story, the Media personality said it is important for people to know that marriage is luck as there are no recipes or rules to a successful marriage.
According to Toke Makinwa, if a marriage is not successful, no matter the amount of commitment, love, and sex inputted to sustain the marriage, it will not work.
Toke Makinwa wrote: The earlier people realize that these relationship/marriage is not rocket science but luck. You are truly lucky and blessed to experience love, commitment, compatibility etc. There are no recipes for a successful marriage, no rule book to what works. Two people make a choice to be desirable and spend time working to keep what they have.
If you like read all the books cook all the meals, have the most explosive sex styles, what will work will work. What will scatter will scatter. It’s life, it’s lesson, it’s season.
For those shocked that I said luck, yes luck cos what are the odds of finding love that will last the test of time in this world? You are truly lucky and blessed that which is not in your control happened for you both. Those who haven’t experienced or are not as lucky are not less desirable, it’s just not in the cards for them yet. Not everyone will experience it too. So yes you are both “lucky” to found yourselves on the side of eternity.
Hence the term lucky/unlucky in love. Luck – opportunities meet preparation right? I do agree that working on yourself is important only to be desirable for a man is a dangerous theory, so many women working on themselves for guys who are developing themselves cos society hold women to a different standard. They meet and it won’t work why? cos her desirability is great on paper but the reality??. How about seminars for men too so everyone is working on themselves for themselves
