The President of Nigeria, H.E Muhammadu Buhari has suffered a great loss following the death of his personal driver, Sa’idu Afaka.
According to reports, Sa’idu Afaka died at the State House Clinic on Tuesday after a prolonged illness.
Reacting to his death, on behalf of H.E, Muhammadu Buhari, Spokesman Garba Shehu has extended his condolences to the family of late Afaka and the people of Kaduna state in an official statement.
In the statement, Afaka was described as an honest, capable and reliable person who handled his job with utmost care and responsibility. He also prayed to God to bless the soul of the departed with an elevated place in heaven.
Garba Shehu recalled that that in 2016 while on pilgrimage in Saudi Arabia, Afaka used to be a Master Warrant Officer picked up a bag containing a large amount of foreign currencies and turned it over to the National Hajj Commission.
This he said earned Afaka praises from the Saudi and Nigerian authorities.
