Nollywood actress Funke Akindele has taken to social media to appreciate her fans for their love and support, especially with the huge success recorded in the movie “Omoghetto The Saga”.
In a post shared on her Instagram page, the mother of two bragged about her achievement stating “Omoghetto The Saga” remains the highest-grossing movie of all time in Nigeria. She attributed the success to her fans.

The comedy flick, ‘Omo Ghetto The Saga’, emerged as the highest-grossing Nollywood film of 2020, breaking a four-year record held by Kemi Adetiba’s 2016 comedy movie “The Wedding Party“.
Aside from making over N630 million from the movie, Funke Akindele’s “Omoghetto The Saga” became Nigeria’s first film to hit the cinemas in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE).
Kemifilani recalls that the Nollywood actress recently opened up on working like a machine to produce the movie, acting, producing, directing and ensuring that all went as planned.
