Europa League: Arsenal, Man Utd qualify for semi-finals

Arsenal and Manchester United are on track to face each other in the Europa League final this year.

The Gunners hammered Slavia Prague 4-0 on Thursday night, thanks to goals from Alexandre Lacazette (brace), Nicolas Pepe and Bukayo Saka.

They had thrown away a late advantage to draw 1-1 in the first leg.

Arsenal face Villarreal in the semi-final, a reunion with former manager, Unai Emery.

United again defeated Granada 2-0, just like they did last week.

They will play Roma for a place in the final.

EFFC sets free former Governor of Imo State, Rochas Okorocha

The former Governor of Imo State, Rochas Okorocha has been released by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

Kemi Filani recalls that Okorocha was invited for questioning by the EFCC after he was accused accused of embezzlement and misappropriation of state funds by the Governor of Imo State, Hope Uzodinma.

The 58 year old who was arrested on Thursday, 8th of April, has however been set free today, 15th of April 2021.

Reports has it that Okorocha is presently at his Maitama residence in Abuja.

In February, the lawmaker accused Uzodinma of unleashing the EFCC and the Independent Corrupt Practices Commission (ICPC) against him.

Ruth Kadiri and Halima Abubakar weren't the only Nigerian celebrities that were snubbed at the Just concluded Eko Star Film and TV Festival.

The event was organised by media mogul, Mo Abudu and it was sponsored by The Lagos State Government.

Kemi Filani News recalls that after the event, hardworking producer and actress, Ruth Kadiri took to her Instagram page to call out Mo Abudu and the Lagos state government for not acknowledging her.
