Paris Saint-Germain forward, Neymar, has claimed that a new contract at the club is no longer a problem.
Neymar stated this after starring as PSG eliminated Bayern Munich in the Champions League quarter-final on a 2-1 aggregate on Tuesday.
The Brazilian superstar also confirmed to TNT Sports Brazil, that he is set to renew his current deal, which currently expires in June 2022.
“The contract extension with PSG is no longer an issue,” Neymar said.
“Obviously, I feel very comfortable and like at home here. I feel happier than before.”
PSG president, Nasser Al-Khelaifi, also said he expects Neymar to stay at the club “for a long time”, adding the Brazilian and Kylian Mbappe “have no reason to leave”.
