Again, Pipeline explodes in Lagos, many feared dead

It was indeed a Black Sunday as Lagos State recorded another pipeline explosion.

This time, it erupted in Isheri-Idimu community, Egbe-Idimu Local Council Development Area (LCDA) in Lagos State.

It was gathered that the inferno broke out after fire gutted one of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) pipelines at Idowu-Egba area.

The residents alleged that the explosion may not be unconnected to the illegal activities of pipeline vandals.

As of the time of filing this report, many residents were seen scampering out of the area for safety while fire fighters battled to put out another inferno which gutted a building at Council Bus Stop, Idimu area of the state.

The number of casualties is yet to be ascertained.

JAMB postpones UTME 2021 Mock exams


The Joint Admissions and Matriculations Board (JAMB) has rescheduled the 2021 Mock Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).

The exam which was to hold on Saturday, April 30, will now take place Thursday, May 20.
