Twitter boss, Jack Dorsey, has just sold his first-ever tweet for almost $3million.
The tweetwas sold as a kind of digital certificate, non-fungible token (NFT) on Monday, 22nd March 2021.
Dorsey’s first tweet which reads: “just setting up my Twitter,” was sent out on March 21, 2006.
And it was sold via an auction on the “Valuables”, a platform owned by US-based company, Cent.
The tweet was bought by Sina Estavi with Twitter profile @sinaEstavi.
Payment was made using the cryptocurrency Ether (ETH) for 1630.5825601 ETH, worth $2,915,835.47 at the time of sale.
Former Big Brother Naija Housemate Ifu Ennada has disclosed why women should be regarded as a stronger vessel.
In a post shared on her Instagram page, the actress said if men could be women for a week, most of them will fall miserably as it is much harder to be a woman, unlike a man.
According to Ifu Ennada, women are built with lots of patience and perseverance. She added that women go through a lot in life, but they do not get credit.
Ifu Ennade wrote: Men and women If men could be women for just 1 wk, most will fall miserably at it. It is much harder to be a woman than it is to be a man".
Benue state Governor, Samuel Ortom, has claimed the Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria (MACBAN) are planning to eliminate him.
Ortom on Tuesday claimed he was the target of the leadership of MACBAN.
The Governor stated this after meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari at the State House.
Governor Ortom disclosed that his lawyers would petition MACBAN's leadership.
"My lawyer is going to make a petition against the leadership of MACBAN because they came out to target me and behind the scene, they are planning to eliminate me in my own land.
"If I can't go to the farm as governor with entire security around me then who else can go to the farm? You can imagine...
Atletico Madrid forward, Moussa Dembele, fainted and appeared to lose consciousness during training on Tuesday.
The 24-year-old was going through stretches, before falling backwards and lying motionless on the ground.
His teammates quickly rushed to his side, before calling for help from the medical staff, who spent a number of minutes trying to resuscitate the player.
He eventually recovered and was able to leave the pitch unassisted.
It is believed low blood pressure was the cause of the incident, and the problem does not appear to have been anything more serious.
