Manchester United forward, Marcus Rashford, is set to sit out their Europa League tie against AC Milan on Thursday and is a doubt for Sunday’s Premier League fixture with West Ham.
Rashford picked up an ankle injury in United’s 2-0 win at Manchester City on Sunday.
He was forced off with the injury, with boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer conceding he is unlikely to be fit for Milan and potentially the weekend.
“I don’t think he will be available for tomorrow,” said Solskjaer.
“He didn’t join in training today.
“I think he is out of tomorrow and still a doubt for the weekend.
“But that 60 or 70 yard recovery run showed the hunger, appetite, desire and humility in the team, so it was worth it, but you never like to lose players to injury.”
